Antony was in the thick of it early on, and he should have at least scored a goal with the early chances he had. The Brazilian winger missed a good chance with his left foot on a break and also a free header inside the box. However, he turned provider for Martial, who was back amongst the goals in the Premier League at Old Trafford towards the end of an injury laden campaign. Bruno Fernandes created the chance for the opening goal for Manchester United in what was another top showing from the Portuguese chief creator.

Alejandro Garnacho has missed the last two months of action in the Premier League with an injury, but the young Argentine has been devastatingly effective for Manchester United off the bench most times this season, scoring important goals and having some real impact despite limited minutes.

It won’t be surprising if some Manchester United fans already want the young Argentine to be a regular starter next season.
