However, with the working permit still a problem, Micheal Carrick would be in charge against Arsenal at Old Trafford. The former Manchester United midfielder, Micheal Carrick would be hoping to hand over the team to Ralf without a defeat.
The club faithful would be hoping the team gets back on their feet with the arrival of the German Coach. The German is believed to be a mentor to Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel, and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp. Klopp admits that it’s bad news for other clubs as Manchester United would be more coordinated with Ralf’s arrival.
Ralf would be in charge of the team till the end of the season and remain at the club for further 2 years for consultancy roles. Manchester United still set their sights on Mauricio Pochettino or Erin Ten Haag as permanent coach in the summer.
