Manchester United reportedly have a budget of £75million to land a new striker. The Red Devils have two main striking targets this summer, Atalanta’s Rasmus Højlund and Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani.
Manchester United are looking to balance their squad ahead of the new season, and it seems Rasmus Højlund is the priority target for the Red Devils.
PSG are also chasing the Danish striker, who has been tipped to become one of the best strikers of his generation.
According to reports, Manchester United are trying to avoid a bidding war with PSG, and will like to wrap up a deal for Højlund quickly.
The former Sturm Graz forward has already agreed personal terms with Manchester United, but agreeing a fee with Atalanta might prove tricky.
The Italian club value Højlund around £86m, despite signing him for just €17 million last summer.
Another option for Manchester United is Randal Kolo Muani. The French forward had a fantastic season with Frankfurt last season, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists.
Frankfurt are also hoping the Frenchman stays, but will they not reject a good offer for the Frenchman. PSG are also tracking Kolo Muani.
United do not want to go overboard, especially after spending over £100m already this summer. The Red Devils have completed deals for Mason Mount and Andre Onana.
