The Lakers put on another hugely disappointing display in their latest crushing defeat of the season. This time they gave up 10 unanswered points to start overtime and fell to the Houston Rockets, 139-130. The Lakers (28-37) are now a season-worst, nine games below .500 after losing to the Rockets who have the worst record in the west.
LeBron James had 23 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists after missing the last game with knee soreness. He wasn’t his usual dominant self as he only shot 9-for-26. At the end of regulation, LeBron had a chance to win the game but he passed the ball to Carmelo Anthony, who missed a jumper. Russell Westbrook led the Lakers in scoring with 30 points and also tallied in 8 rebounds.
