Ellis Simms’ stunning 89th minute strike saw Everton twice come from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw at Chelsea, in which the Blues twice led through goals from João Félix and Kai Havertz, either side of Abdoulaye Doucoure’s equalizer.

Goals from Jack Harrison, Luke Ayling, Rasmus Kristensen and Rodrigo saw Leeds climb out of the relegation zone with a 4-2 win at nine-men Wolves, as Jonny and Matheus Cunha scored for the hosts but Jonny and Matheus Nunes were red carded.

Bournemouth also slipped to second-bottom after suffering a disappointing 3-0 loss at Aston Villa, as Douglas Luiz, Jacob Ramsey and Emiliano Buendia all scored for the hosts.

Finally, Leicester sit one point above the drop after Harvey Barnes cancelled out Mathias Jensen’s goal in a comeback 1-1 draw at Brentford.
