Manchester City and Spurs closed out yet another entertaining weekend in the Premier League. The London side were able to grab a draw away at the Etihad in a thriller. Chelsea held on to beat Brighton. Arsenal and Liverpool also won their games, and Manchester United lost away at Newcastle.

Let’s rank the top 5 best players from the 2023/24 Premier League matchweek 14.

Antony Gordon got the winner for Newcastle United against Manchester United on Saturday, but the shift Trippier put in needs to be highlighted.

The former Spurs defender was unreal both in attack and defence against United.

Trippier set up Antony Gordon’s winner, created the most chances (6), almost scored from a free-kick, completed the most dribbles (3), and passes (56) on Saturday.

Martin Odegaard

Odegaard’s 13th minute strike proved to be the winner for Arsenal on Saturday against Wolves. The Norwegian was also the chief creator for the Gunners on the night.

He created 6 chances, and also completed 76 passes with 90% accuracy.

Zeki Amdouni

Burnley and Amdouni would want to face Sheffield United every week in the Premier League.

The Clarets were at their best as they blew The Blades away. Amdouni scored one and assisted one in a fine display Burnley fans had been waiting for all season.

Enzo Fernandez

Fernandez gave Chelsea the lead against Brighton in their 3-2 win. The Argentine also scored what proved to be the winning goal in the second half.

Apart from his goals, Enzo Fernández had to put in a shift after Conor Gallagher got sent off just before half-time, and the former Benfica man excelled.

Another late goal to steal points for Liverpool means Alexander Arnold is the best Premier League player this week.

What a player this man is, calamitous as a defender, but when he gets forward, there are very few players in the world with better accuracy. His free-kick goal gave Liverpool the lead, but it was ruled as a Bernd Leno own goal.

Arnold tops the list for top 5 best Premier League players from matchweek 14 in the 2023/24 season.
