Antonio Conte is looking at the possibility of signing Christian Eriksen this summer. Eriksen signed a 6 months deal with Brentford after Inter Milan ended his deal. Inter Milan had to end Eriksen`s contract because of Serie-A rules on implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD). The Danish star suffered a cardiac arrest in the 42nd minute of Denmark’s opening match against Finland at the Euro 2020.
Many thought that was the end of his career. However, he has made a stunning comeback in the Premier League.
Conte and Eriksen worked together at Inter Milan for two years. The pair enjoyed a successful stint as they clinched the Scudetto last year.
Christian Eriksen has had a dream return to football. Helping Brentford steer clear of relegation. The former Ajax man also scored on his return to the national team last week. Eriksen was key as Brentford stunned Chelsea 4-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham have been showing positive signs under Antonio Conte. The Italian has guided Spurs to fourth position on the log. Tottenham are now favorites to finish inside the top 4 after Palace thrashed Arsenal 3-0 last night.

“I’m the first person to be happy to see him again on the pitch because we spent a really good time at Inter Milan together. We won the league, we spent two important seasons together. I wish him all the best for the future. And you don’t know what will happen. It would be good for me to have him again, to work together.”
