According to reports, Chelsea have joined the race to sign Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo in January.
The Blues have opened talks with the Cherries as they look to capitalize on the Ghanaian’s £65 million release clause, which will come into place for just 10 days in January.

Manchester United, Manchester City, and Liverpool are also in talks with Bournemouth to sign the 25-year-old forward, but Chelsea could move ahead if they view Semenyo as a brilliant market opportunity.
Manchester United have courted Semenyo for a few months now, as Ruben Amorim sees him as the perfect fit for his direct attacking approach at the club.
Liverpool also want a proper replacement for Luis Díaz and have made contact with Bournemouth since November. Manchester City are also monitoring the situation closely, as Guardiola wants to bolster his left-wing options.

Semenyo has enjoyed a brilliant start to the 2025/26 season. Despite missing some games through injury, Antoine Semenyo has still managed to score eight goals already while providing three assists in the Premier League.
Semenyo will decide his future in the coming days, and the decision could come down to which club can offer him the best opportunities and wages.
Chelsea operate a strict wage structure, which could affect the move, but the Blues remain very strong candidates to win the race for his signature.
