Multiple sources have confirmed that Nathan Ake will not move to Chelsea this summer. Chelsea were interested in bringing back their former defender, but a move for the Dutchman has now collapsed.

Other reports suggested that a bid from Chelsea was rejected by Manchester City, who recently sold Raheem Sterling to their EPL Title rivals. Nathan Ake already agreed to Personal terms with Chelsea, but will now remain with Pep Guardiola’s side. The Spanish coach sees the Dutchman as an integral part of his plans for next season.

Chelsea will now go after PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe. The Blues have started talks with PSG over a deal for the French defender who excelled under Thomas Tuchel. PSG are willing to sell Kimpembe if their valuation is met. Chelsea have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, but Tuchel is keen to continue strengthening the team’s defence after Antonio Rüdiger and Andreas Christensen left the club.
