- Former Spurs Coach To Take Over In The Summer
Chelsea have agreed a deal with former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino to become the club’s new manager. The deal could be for 3 years as Chelsea look to reboot and restart next season under the Argentine, after horrendous 2022/23 campaign.
There have been talks linking Pochettino to the Blues for a while, with fine details delaying the deal till yesterday, when Chelsea reached an agreement with him
Pochettino is excited by the new Chelsea project after his mixed spell at PSG. Tottenham Hotspur also wanted to bring their old manager back following a disastrous end to Conte’s spell at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, but Pochettino chose Chelsea.
The Argentine is excited to work with Chelsea’s youngsters and the new owners, who are still looking to invest massively in the club.
The Argentine will take over in the summer with Jesus Pérez, Miguel D’Agostino, Sebastiano Pochettino, Tony Jimenez all joining up with Pochettino in West London.
