According to reports from Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Antonio Rudiger has agreed a four-year deal to join Real Madrid. The German defender will leave Chelsea at the end of the season, after contract negotiations proved difficult. The defender chose to bring an end to his time at Stamford Bridge, as he could not wait for the takeover before deciding his future.

Rudiger will sign a four-year deal at the Bernabeu, coupled with a big pay rise. They will complete the remaining details before the end of the season. The 29-year-old has been one of Chelsea’s best players under Thomas Tuchel.
