• Gunners Continue 100% PL Record After Gabriel’s late winner
  • Arteta’s Arsenal Look Determined and Committed

Arsenal continued their impressive start to the season with a hard fought 2-1 win over Fulham at the Emirates today.

This isn’t much about how Arsenal always start the season well sometimes, and then fall off as the season progresses, The Gunners have looked really impressive in all their first four matches of the season. Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth and now Fulham. The Cottagers have been the trickiest opponents so far, and it was the way Arsenal responded to the challenge of going one goal down at home that impressed many.

Arsenal are looking like a solid top 4 side for the first time in over 7 years. The Cohesion, the commitment, and the desire from the players in the first four games has been top notch.

Martin Ødegaard scored Arsenal’s equalizer; his third goal in one week. The Norwegian captain is truly developing into one fine and mature footballer under Mikel Arteta. He once again pulled the strings perfectly at the Emirates against Fulham. A high percentage of Ødegaard’s 92 touches came at the edge of Fulham’s box, he relentlessly linked the base of Arsenal’s midfield with the attack, and it paid off.

Yesterday’s victory also showed that the Arsenal team are not overly dependent on Gabriel Jesus in attack. Martinelli worked incredibly hard again to push Arsenal over the line.

Bukayo Saka, who was Arsenal’s main source of attacking inspiration last season has not been in the best form this season, and that also hasn’t slowed the team down; credit to Mikel Arteta.

Bigger tests are coming for Arsenal as they host Aston Villa next, before traveling to face Manchester United. The Europa League also begins in a fortnight with a trip to Switzerland. The coming weeks will test Arsenal, However, they have surely started really well like they mean business.
