The Reds Embarrass Bournemouth to record first League win of the season.

Liverpool were in their element on Saturday after as they dismantled Scott Parker’s Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield. The Reds started the season woefully with two draws against Fulham and Crystal Palace, before losing to Manchester United last Monday. Klopp needed a response from his side and boy did he get it. Liverpool were two up within the opening two minutes. Luis Diaz opened the scoring before Harvey Elliot shot found the right corner for 2-0. From then on it was plain sailing for the reds as they equal the record for the highest win margin in the Premier League. Roberto Firmino, new boy Fabio Carvalho, Alexander Arnold and Van Dijk all found the net on a busy afternoon for Bournemouth Goalie Mark Travers.

However, The Red Devils needed to end their poor away run and they did. A quick combination released Diogo Dalot who found Fernandes at the edge of the box, the Portuguese slotted home past Bazunu for the only goal of the game. After the goal, Southampton took control of the game, but they couldn’t find their way back.

Arsenal edge Fulham

After a quiet first half, the game exploded into life in the second half. Mitrovic made Gabriel pay for making the same mistake twice and gave Fulham a surprise lead.

Odegaard was the best Arsenal player on the pitch today and he started the Arsenal comeback as his deflected shot went past Leno. Leno made six saves but he wasn’t strong enough in the air to stop Arsenal’s winner as Gabriel made up for his earlier error by scoring from close range.

Haaland To The Rescue For Manchester City

Not many would have predicted that Manchester City would get a win after their first half performance against Crystal Palace today. The South Londoners shocked the Etihad Stadium when they took an early lead through an own goal by John Stones. Joachim Andersen doubled the lead with a thumping header, but Erling Haaland had other ideas. The Citizens found their inspiration through Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese found a way past Palace’s organized defense with a well placed shot deflecting into the bottom corner.

Erling Haaland took the invite by dominating the box till completed his hat-trick. The Norwegian headed in Phil Foden’s cross near post for the equalizer, before applying the finishing touch to a team move in the 70th minute. Haaland received a through ball from Gundogan in the 80th minute, the Norwegian fought off pressure from Palace defenders before slotting home his third to hand City all the points at the Etihad.
