Barcelona Given First Refusal Over Angelo & Kaiky

Barcelona and Santos have settled their dispute over Gabigol’s transfer to Inter Milan back in 2016.
The Story

While negotiating a deal for Neymar back in 2013, the Spanish club negotiated a right to have the first refusal over Gabigol. However, Santos did not notify Barcelona when they sold Gabigol to Inter Milan in 2016. Barcelona sued Santos for their behavior.

Barcelona demanded a £3M compensation, but Santos were unable to pay. In other to resolve the issue, Santos have given Barcelona first refusal rights over two exciting forwards Angelo and Kaiky Fernandes.

Angelo And Kaiky

Kaiky Fernades, 18, and Ângelo Gabriel who is also 17 years old are exciting talents that are already getting attention from top European clubs. Manchester City, Chelsea have been linked with moves for Angelo, while Kaiky is also linked with several top clubs in Europe.

Angelo was 11 days younger than Pele when he made his debut, leaving him behind only club legend Coutinho (not Philippe), who was a few weeks shy of his 15th birthday when he debuted in 1958.
