- Bayern could cash-in on Mane in the summer
Bayern Munich are reportedly considering the future of Sadio Mané at the club after a dressing room bust-up led him to punch his teammate Leroy Sané.
Mane confronted Sane in the dressing room and punched him on the lip, leaving him bleeding. Their colleagues had to separate them. Mane has since apologized to the squad.
The reason for the clash is Sane’s poor performance and attitude on the pitch, as he wasted several chances and argued with Mane in the last minutes of the game.
Sane was also seen hiding his lip injury from the cameras when he returned to Munich. Bayern Munich have not commented on the incident, but they are reportedly considering possible sanctions for Mane, including a fine, a suspension or even a transfer in the summer. The incident has added to Bayern’s troubles, as they face a difficult task of overturning a three-goal deficit in the second leg at home.
Bayern Munich will reportedly take a strong stand on this matter and there will be talks on the future of the former Liverpool man. Although the club haven’t commented on this, they have a very strict and strong stance on in-fighting in the dressing room or among players in the club.
