Chelsea need goals. Simple and short. 38 goals in 38 Premier League games is an embarrassing return and while Graham Potter was admittedly out of his depth, his side massively underperformed their xG.

We look at 3 solid options to guarantee the Blues’ goals next season.

1 . Victor Osimhen (Napoli)

The Super Eagles striker is one of the hottest properties on the market with Napoli valuing him at €150m.

He is an instant guarantee of goals, able to create for himself and finish off moves. 31 goals in 39 appearances for Napoli this season and it really should have been more (he missed two penalties).

While very expensive, Chelsea should make his signing a priority.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Al – Nassr)

Cristiano Ronaldo would likely be cheaper and more of a short-term option but he is still a remarkable goalscorer. 14 goals in 16 appearances for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League and he has looked as sharp as ever.

He may come with some baggage but one season of Ronaldo could put Chelsea back in the top four as long as he gets the required service.

3. Harry Kane (Tottenham)

The lure of former boss Mauricio Pochettino could be a useful tool in convincing Kane to swap Tottenham for Chelsea. Kane scored 30 Premier League goals in the just-concluded season and would be an instant boost to the Chelsea front line.

This is probably a much harder deal to complete than the other two but it is still one worth exploring.
