Spurs Appoint Ange Postecoglou As New Manager

• The 57-year-Old Australian Manager Has Signed A Four Year Deal With The North London Club

Spurs have appointed Celtic manager and former Australian national team coach Ange Postecoglu as their new manager. Since the sacking of Antonio Conte, Spurs have had Cristian Stellini and Ryan Mason manage the side.

The club endured a horrendous end to the season, where they missed out on Europe completely. Ange Postecoglou enjoyed an amazing season with Celtic, leading the Scottish club to a domestic treble and impressively shattering some records in the 2022/23 season.

Postecoglou is known for his attacking style, and has been compared to Jürgen Klopp. The Australian also loves developing young talents, and that seats well with Tottenham’s plan for the future.

A statement on the club’s website reads

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as our new First Team Head Coach. Becoming the first Australian to manage in the Premier League, Ange will join us on 1 July on a four-year contract.
