The Mancunians needed to make a statement with their performance after enduring their most humiliating EPL defeat on Sunday, and they did. The Perfect response for Manchester United, as they have no time to dwell on their disappointing performance over the weekend. Manager Erik ten Hag was also pleased with his team’s character after beating Real Betis;

“It was a great attitude, we were good on the ball, made good switches and runs in behind and created a lot of chances. It is always good to see how the team reacts after a setback. This is not the first time this season we can reset and bounce back. This team has character, so a big compliment to the team.”
