• Brighton Boss Verbally Agrees To Replace Tuchel

Graham Potter looks set to become the new Chelsea manager after talks with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly. The English manager will replace Thomas Tuchel who was sacked on Wednesday after Chelsea’s loss to Dinamo Zagreb. The former Brighton boss was contacted by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and after much discussions, an agreement was reached for Potter to replace Tuchel. Graham Potter is expected to be in charge of Chelsea against Fulham this weekend at Stamford Bridge.

Boehly Wants Graham Potter On The Long Term

According to multiple resources, part of the reasons why Tuchel was sacked was because reactions to Boehly’s plans.

The new owner will make sure that Graham Potter understands his long term goal at Chelsea. It is also understood that Potter will be backed in the January transfer window as he tries to assemble a team that can challenge for trophies.
