The ongoing conundrum among some Manchester United fans is whether to bring back Jadon Sancho or let him leave permanently in the summer. The English winger has been inspiring for Borussia Dortmund since he moved back to Germany on loan this January.

He put on a show last Wednesday against Paris Saint German as Dortmund edged the French Champions 1-0 in the first leg of their semi-final tie.

According to reports, Manchester United are willing to sell a number of their first team players this summer. This begs the question – Sell Sancho? Or, give him another chance?

New investors INEOS want to refresh the squad this summer, and Sancho’s future at Manchester United is in question, and opinions are split at the moment.

If Sancho Leaves

If the English winger leaves permanently, Manchester United will be getting funds to use in their squad rebuild, but it will likely be a cut-price, especially if they do business with Dortmund.

Manchester United will look lighter in attack than they already are, and with the likes of Antony Martial and Marcus Rashford also potentially leaving, finding top replacements won’t be an easy job.

If Sancho Stays

This might depend on if Erik ten Hag stays on as Manchester United manager. Sancho and Erik ten Hag’s spat was the main reason why the winger had to leave the club back in January. Jadon Sancho’s likelihood of staying at Manchester United will exponentially improve if United decide to part ways with Erik ten Hag.

If Sancho stays at Manchester United, the new owners and sporting directors will be getting a player revitalized from his time at Dortmund. They will be getting a fantastic winger and a player they can build their new team around.

Manchester United will sign young, hungry players to form the new core of the club. They are already following talents like Michael Olise, Jarrad Branthwaite and Joao Neves. If Jadon Sancho can stay at the club with renewed passion, he can lead the new generation of stars at the club.
