Juventus have signed Torino defender Gleison Bremer for €50M. The Turin Giants piped Inter Milan to the signing of the Brazilian. Bremer was linked with a couple of European clubs before he completed his move to Juventus. Chelsea and Tottenham were interested but both clubs did not move to sign the 25-year-old.

Gleison Bremer Silva Nascimento is a strong center back who was voted the best defender in the Serie A last season despite Torino’s performance. He has a chance to form a partnership with Leornado Bonnucci after Matthijs De Ligt swapped Turin for Munich.

Bremer’s most impressive attributes are his physicality, presence, and leadership on the pitch. A mature, no-nonsense defender who could still develop to be one of the finest of his generation.

Bremer moved to Atletico Mineiro back in 2017, before he was scouted and signed by Torino a year later. He spent four years with Torino racking up 98 Serie-A appearances, scoring 11 times in the league for the club. Bremer will add steel to the Juventus backline again especially after Giorgio Chiellini left the club this summer.
