Manchester United representatives are headed to Amsterdam to discuss a deal for Antony. The Reds are in Advanced talks with Ajax for the Brazilian forward.

Ajax agreed a five-year deal to sign Antony in February 2020. They signed him the same month they agreed to sell Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea. The Dutch giants paid an initial £13M for the Brazilian, and they value him around £40M currently.

Manchester United are closing in on Antony

Antony has impressed since joining from Sao Paulo in 2020. The Brazilian scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists for Ajax in all competitions last term. However those stats fail to justify just how impactful he can be on the pitch.

The Brazilian also created 37 chances for Ajax, and that is just part of what he can bring to Manchester United. Erik Ten Hag wants to sign the 22-year-old as he intends to bring his ideas to full fruition at the club.
