Team Durant Analysis

MVP favourite Joel Embiid is a big plus for Team Durant. His ability to shoot from deep as well as score from inside could be a swing factor. Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert are waiting to come off the bench and play their part as well. An extra-strength possessed by Durant’s squad is the sheer athleticism at the guard position. Defenders typically have a hard time keeping up with Trae Young and Ja Morant. Morant will be extra motivated for his first All-star appearance. A fitting reward for what has been a stellar season so far.

Team LeBron Analysis

On paper, this team should be favourites. The starting lineup features four guys who have won a combined 9 of the last 13 MVP awards in the league. The bench is also full of firepower with Luka Doncic waiting. A player who on his day is easily top ten in the NBA.

There’s also Chris Paul who has proven once again that he can still be the master facilitator. Giannis won the MVP award at the last All-Star game and he is having yet another fantastic season. Of course, if you need long-range, mid-range and just shooting in general, Steph Curry is your man.

A tough one to call but let us know who you think will win this year’s All-Star game?
