The Cincinnati Bengals have a chance to advance to the Super Bowl. Standing in their way are the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s AFC title game.
This matchup will be the second meeting of these two teams. They met four weeks ago in one of the best games of the regular season, a 34-31 Bengals win. On that day Joe Burrow looked like the better quarterback, putting up 446 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs team have become masters of capitalizing on opportunities. They certainly have the best offense left in the competition at this point and must utilize it. This appearance will see them make a fourth straight trip to the AFC title game. They have won the last two along with a convincing Super Bowl victory back in 2020. A high-flying offense that hopes to lean on the shoulders of their defensive unit. There is a reason why they’re favorites heading into this game and the Chiefs will have to show just why.

As for the Cincinnati Bengals, we could witness an upset of huge proportions. Bengals are in this position courtesy of a hard-fought victory over the AFC’s top seed, Tennessee Titans. Victory here would make Burrow an instant Cincinnati legend. This is the Bengals first Super Bowl appearance since January 1989 following a disastrous and disappointing stretch from 2016 to 2021.
The Chiefs will be aiming to get revenge after the defeat early in the season. Will they pull off a dominant win at home in Arrowhead Stadium? Or are the Bengals set for a huge upset. It remains to be seen.
Prediction – Chiefs 32 – Bengals 20
