Osimhen has enjoyed a fine season in front of goal for Napoli this term scoring 17 times in all competitions, and also registering 6 assists. He has gathered a lot of interest from top clubs around Europe, but he will stay in Naples.

Osimhen joined the Italians in 2020 after a successful stint with Lille in France. Osimhen became the most expensive Nigerian player ever when Napoli paid €68 million for the young striker. He has returned with 27 goals despite his injury woes.

“It is a great honour for me to have achieved this goal [qualifying for the Champions League] with my teammates,” “We are very happy to be able to measure ourselves in the biggest European club competition.

“We are more disappointed than [the fans] for not having [won the title]. We are, because we had the quality to win it. It was our dream to win it. Of course. Our hope remains to win the title and for this, we will give everything next season to try again.”

Manchester United want to sign a new striker, Darwin Nunez and Victor Osimhen have been mentioned. However, the Nigerian sounded uninterested in any transfer talks as he hopes to stay next season and try again with Napoli for the Scudetto.

Newcastle also have him on their list, but Nunez looks more attainable at the moment.
