- PSG confirm the arrival of Ousmane Dembélé as they continue their squad rebuild.
Ousmane Dembélé has signed a 5-year deal with the Parisians as he completes a move back to the Ligue 1. PSG activated Dembélé’s release clause which as at €50million after agreeing personal terms with the players late last month. This brings Dembélé’s 6-year injury-laden stay at Barcelona to an end.
Dembele was set to stay at Barcelona and renew his deal with the Catalans, but PSG saw an opportunity to steal one of the best Barcelona attackers last season, and they did.
Ousmane Dembélé’s signing for Luis Enrique comes after star duo Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé look set to leave the club this summer. Recent reports suggest that PSG could find an agreement with Neymar to terminate his contract. The club has also told Mbappé that he is not part of club plans this year.
Dembélé joins Asensio, Lee Kang In, and Gonçalo Ramos in a new-look attack for the Paris club.
