Premier League Gameweek 25 concluded on Monday night with an entertaining 1-1 draw between Everton and Crystal Palace, at the Goodison Park.

It was another entertaining weekend in the Premier League. Chelsea surprisingly put up a good fight against Manchester City. Arsenal were dominant again as they hit Burnley for 5. Liverpool also defeated Brentford 4-1.

It is getting pretty intense at the top in the Premier League, and in the relegation zone.

Efficient, reliable Bukayo Saka was on hand to help Arsenal cruise past Burnley away from home. The Englishman scored twice for Arsenal against Vincent Kompany’s men. He has been so efficient in front of goal for the Gunners this season, and hopefully he will continue his good scoring form as we enter into the EPL title race run in.

AFCON Young player of the tournament! Simon Adingra was instrumental against Sheffield United, and it was evident that Roberto De Zerbi missed him while he was away with his country. Adingra showed great technical strength for his first goal, and he also grabbed a second late on to seal a 5-0 away win for the seagulls.

Ollie Watkins netted two excellent goals that just shows how much he is growing as a finisher. His goals also directly won his team all 3 points, in a tough away day in London.

Joao Gomes

A first timer on this list, but what a way to arrive!

Joao Gomez was excellent in midfield against Spurs. Gomes recovered the ball 5 times, made 4 clearances, and also had the most tackles against Spurs. More importantly, he scored two vital goals that won the game for his side. His first goal was a well-placed header. Then for the second, he started and finished a counter-attack with a fantastic goal, after some impressive work by Pedro Neto.
