For most of last week, Kylian Mbappe looked set to sign for Real Madrid, with some major sources already reporting the deal. However, all that now seems unlikely following the latest updates from Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Kylian Mbappe’s mother earlier confirmed that the Frenchman had offers on the table from both PSG and Real Madrid, he had to choose where he will play next season and has now chosen PSG.
Since joining PSG in 2017, Kylian Mbappe has had an amazing impact on the club. Although he is yet to win the Champions League with the French Club, he has scored 168 goals and registered over 80 assists in over 250 appearances for the French Club.
It is rather wise for Kylian Mbappé to remain at PSG this summer. Going to Real Madrid is great, but he might find himself in the shadow of fellow Frenchman Karim Benzema at the club. He’ll remain at PSG, and wait two seasons before joining Real Madrid as the main striker on the team.
