Top European League football will come to a close this weekend. With the League title still to play for in England and Italy, let’s preview everything that is still up for grabs in Premier League and the Italian Serie A.
Premier League Title Race Climax
It has been an eventful season for Manchester City and Liverpool. City have had a good season, but they’ve fallen short in many way. They were knocked out of the Carabao Cup for the first time in four years, and also eliminated from the FA Cup and Champions League. Liverpool on the other hand, have had an excellent season so far, beating Chelsea twice to claim the Carabao Cup and The FA Cup trophies already this season. The Reds are also in the Final of the UEFA Champions League where they will face Real Madrid.
It’s locked between them and Manchester City this Sunday. Who will win the Premeir League trophy?.
The Reds are one point behind Manchester City, any slip up by The Citizens today against Aston Villa will see Liverpool pick up the Premier League title, given they beat Wolves. It is delicately poised between the two teams. but also just below them are Arsenal and Spurs still fighting for a spot in the next season’s UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.
Top 4 Battle
After two straight defeats against Tottenham and Newcastle, Arsenal’s hope of securing UCL football is almost gone. The Gunners face Everton on Sunday while Spurs face relegated Norwich City.
A point for Spurs should be enough to guarantee UCL football for next season. There is also the small matter of Manchester United confirming their Europa League spot with a win over Crystal Palace.
Manchester United could still end up in the Conference League if they lose and West Ham beat Brighton.
Relegation Battle
Leeds and Burnley will fight it out today for a place in the Premier League next season.
Both teams are on 35 points, but Burnley have goal difference advantage over Leeds. Burnley host Newcastle at home while Leeds will travel to London to face Brentford.
Golden Boot Race
Mohamed Salah and Hueng Min Son will have the side-aim of winning the Premier League Golden Boot this year. Salah leads with 22 goals and Son has 21 goals.
Hueng Min Son has a slightly easier opponent in Norwich while Salah will go up against the ever-compact Wolves.

Serie A Title Race – Red Pill or Blue Pill?
The title race between AC Milan and Inter will come to a close today. Inter Milan trail the Rossoneri by 2 points. The Nerazurris hosts Sampdoria, and Milan will be in Modena to face Sassuolo.
Milan cannot afford to draw this game, they need a win to pick up their first Scudetto trophy since 2011. It is still delicately poised in Italy.
