Domestic football continues in Europe this week as we approach the business end of the season. Clubs are trying to secure UCL qualifications, pursue titles and more across the top European leagues. This weekend will be another chapter as clubs continue to pursue their goals.
Matches
Arsenal v Manchester United
Saturday’s early kickoff pits two teams vying for a UEFA Champions League spot against each other. Arsenal coming off a very important 4-2 win over Chelsea will aim to topple Manchester United this weekend at the Emirates. United players know a victory over direct top four rivals Arsenal will boost their hopes of playing UCL football next season.
Chelsea v West Ham
The Blues will also get a chance to bounce back against a stubborn West Ham side, after slumping to a 4-2 defeat at home to Arsenal
Merseyside Derby.
It has been a while since there has been this much distance between Liverpool and Everton ahead of a Merseyside derby. Liverpool are chasing the League while Frank Lampard’s men are fighting relegation.
In the Serie A,
Inter will continue their attempt to defend the Scudetto against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma. AC Milan who are currently on top of the table will hope not to stumble in Rome against SC Lazio. This could be an important week in the race for the 2021/22 Scudetto.
Dortmund could make the end of the Bundesliga season spicier if they defeat Bayern at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians have a 9-point gap over Dortmund.
Are you ready for all the weekend action?
